adult-functional-training-weightsNEXT LEVEL University has developed a revolutionary program that would be considered a challenging high intensity low impact workout.     

 

What is it and what does it do?  It is about Human performance, you will be introduced to a high intensity workout that will be utilizing bands, medicine balls, free-weights, power movements, calisthenics, and plyometric exercises in an attempt to condition the body via maximizing high intensity core movements. 

We have been compared to Cross Fit, but then that quickly was dismissed based upon several individuals going through the classWith NEXT LEVEL Training our philosophy is to challenge, motivate, and inspire our students to reach their highest level, but we want to achieve that without the high probability of injury that a majority of students have experienced going through Cross Fit.  

This program has 15 phases and with each phase the curriculum gets more and more challenging, as you progress, you will discover new elements about yourself and what you are capable of.  To get through each phase our goal is to have created an experience that will translate into a high sense of achievement for our students. We want you to feel good about your achievements, but not just physically, but also mentally and spiritually. 

adult-functional-training-ropesOne other unique factor within our NEXT LEVEL training is that you will always be supported by a trainer, who is there to inspire, motivate, and instruct.  We wanted to eliminate any reason for you to not get the most effective workout possible, with each and every workout.

Another major component to our Next Level Training program is what we reference as Speed Dynamics Training (non-sports specific).  This portion of our programming is a great supplement for the kids. We want our kids to become strong, and that is what Next Level training will do, but the Speed Dynamics that is what will help the kids become quicker, faster, and more explosive.

It's a program that will accelerate and accentuate the quick twitch fibers which all athletes need to perform at a higher level. This programming will increase speed, quickness, acceleration, recovery, and overall explosiveness on the court, or within any sports venue. This program will also minimize the potential for injury based on the development of the ancillary muscles surrounding the primary muscles that are used on a daily basis.

This program consists of 12 phases all of which work in conjunction with one another to develop the necessary quick twitch fibers to be an explosive, laterally efficient, and over achieving athlete.  All sports have different requirements and necessities to be considered as explosive, fast, having a burst, and have great coordination & balance. 

“THE LAB” through years of research has determined that as our programming grew that there was a piece within youth athletics that was missing across the board.  That piece is now known as Speed Dynamics; if your athlete can develop their quick twitch fibers earlier in their sports career, they can and will have an advantage over most of their peers.

How does peed Dynamics training create an advantage within the youth sports? The advantage is created by providing the following to the athletes:

  • Increased top end speed
  • Lateral quickness
  • Overall quickness
  • Burst off the line, off the dribble, etc.…,
  • Exceptional footwork
  • Increased body coordination
  • Accelerated recovery, 
  • Improved balance
  • Overall increased strength.

The 12 training phases for Speed Dynamics are as follows:

  1. Stretching
  2. Endurance
  3. Quicker recovery time
  4. Burst (Acceleration)
  5. Top End Speed
  6. Core Strength
  7. Foot Speed
  8. Lateral Quickness
  9. Explosiveness (Bounce/Vertical Jump)
  10. Arm Static (Effective Arm Swing & Utilization)
  11. Fiber Breakdown (Increase Quick twitch Fibers)
  12. Mental toughness

Train for your position in your sport and become the best athlete you can be.  Our goal is to train the athlete is a way so that they are simulating the movements necessary within their sport; this allows for the athlete to become more prepared and athletically capable.
